Your Holiday Glow Timeline: When to Book Before the Big Events

Dr. Ben Jump | Bella Facial Esthetics

The holidays have a way of sneaking up on us. One minute it is October, and the next you are

posing for family photos, heading to an office party, or counting down to New Year's Eve. If you

would like to look rested and refreshed for those moments, a little planning goes a long way. Every

treatment has its own timeline, and booking at the right time means your results have settled in and

look natural by the time the celebrations begin. Here is how we think about timing at Bella Facial

Esthetics.

Neurotoxin: Give It at Least Two Weeks

Neurotoxin (we use Xeomin) works by gently relaxing the specific muscles that create expression

lines, like the lines across the forehead, the crow's feet around the eyes, and the "elevens" between

the brows. Most people start to notice a softening within several days, with the full effect showing

at around two weeks.

That is why we recommend booking at least two weeks before an important event. It gives your

results time to fully develop and leaves room for a follow up visit if a small adjustment is needed.

Results commonly last around three to four months, although everyone is different. A visit in

November can carry many people comfortably through the holidays and into the new year.

Filler and PRF Microneedling: Plan a Little Further Ahead

Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers restore volume and shape right away, but some swelling or bruising

can show up in the first few days. Most of that settles over the following two weeks, so we suggest

scheduling filler two to four weeks before your event. Subtle is always our goal, and your result

should look like you on a really good day.

PRF microneedling works on a different clock. Bio PRF is made from a small sample of your own

blood, which is processed to concentrate your body's natural healing factors. Paired with

microneedling, it encourages your skin to build collagen gradually over the following weeks.

Redness usually fades within a day or two, but the real improvement in texture and glow builds

over time. For the best results, we recommend a series of three treatments spaced several weeks

apart, and the series includes a take home Neocutis Bio Serum Firm to support your skin between

visits. Starting a series this fall is a lovely way to head into winter, when dry indoor air can leave

skin looking dull.

A Simple Plan for the Season

Here is an easy way to map out the next couple of months:

October and early November: Come in for a free consult, start a PRF microneedling series, or

plan any filler treatments.

Mid November: Join us for The Center Sanctum's holiday one day sale, a great time to plan your

treatments and learn about the Beauty Bank, our prepaid membership with Glow, Radiance, and

Elite tiers.

Late November to early December: Schedule neurotoxin so your results are at their best for

December gatherings.
